From his wife, Karen: There is no formal service – he did not want anything like that. It will be free-flowing where old friends can reconnect and share their stories with each other – and maybe new friends made. His Second Life and Wax n Facts worlds will meet. There will be a slideshow running and a compilation of his Euphonic Productions shows playing. All are welcome to come for as little or as long as you’d like.
Stores are CLOSING EARLY at 5pm to allow our team members plenty of time to attend.
It is with immense sadness that we let you know Milt passed away on November 21. We will never forget his love of all media (music, tv shows and movies) and especially animals. He started volunteering in Spring 2014 in our media area, which let him follow his passion while sorting through the donations. His love for all things music & media related showed in his media displays.
After volunteering for 1 ½ years, Milt became an employee in November 2015 and expanded his role to helping customers and – more importantly – giving treats and belly-rubs – to his favorite dog customers. He truly loved the dogs of Second Life and it showed, as many searched him out when they came in the store. Milt was naturally friendly social with our human customers too, and we know he will be missed. Milt was a big part of the Second Life family and will never be forgotten.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen, his beloved dogs Ibby, Nico and Dagmar and cats, Squeaky, Doorstop and Tubbs. He loved to talk about his petsand we know they will miss their daddy. We’d love to hear any stories you’d like to share about Milt – and there is a card in the Main Store for anyone to sign. He was an important part of Second Life – and he loved being a part of helping our mission. He will be missed. We’ll share news of a service once we have details.
