Bookkeeping or CPA Services Needed

Two months after Second Life opened in 2011, a retired CPA named Joel walked into our store. We talked briefly and he offered to volunteer his knowledge and services to help Second Life with our accounting needs. He has been instrumental for our organization for the past 12 1/2 years, but like the saying goes…”all good things must come to an end.” Joel has retired from this role and will be missed.

We are searching for a company or person who can provide us with the following services: While we understand another volunteer situation may not be in the cards, we are hopeful we can find an affordable option.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operational expenses
  • Grant expenses
  • Other financial records

Required

  • Works on monthly close each month
  • Proficient with QuickBooks

Potential Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with year-end audit review
  • Complete 990 forms

Provide other assistance as needed

Monthly Sales Closing

  • Sales
  • Payroll expenses
