Second Life Upscale Resale

Second Life has two upscale thrift stores in the Atlanta, GA area that were created with the mission of giving homeless pets a second chance at life.

Our 5,000+ square foot main store sells gently-used clothing, housewares, electronics, home décor, books, furniture and more!  In turn, we support animal rescue charities and spay/neuter programs with much-needed cash donations.  Our newest Furniture, Decor and More store opened in November 2013 and is located next door - and features our furniture, artwork, lamps, decor, vintage and collectibles.   Park once and shop twice!  Find a treat for yourself and give homeless pets a second chance at life!

Since opening in 2011, our goal has been to offer our customers a unique and fun thrift store shopping experience where every purchase benefits homeless dogs and cats. Our store is bright, organized and fun! All items are donated so every visit is a treasure hunt – you never know what kind of goodies you’ll find – and new items are added daily. At Second Life, you will find everything from antiques to vintage to brand new items. Get consignment store quality at thrift store prices

You’ll find our store is geared to the bargain shopper and animal lovers- with fun animal motifs painted on the back wall, rescue and shelter information posted throughout the store – and our Chief Smile Officer, Riley, roaming the store and looking for a good ear scratch. We host pet adoptions on a monthly basis so animal rescue groups can find homes for their adorable dogs and cats.

Donations of gently-used items are needed year-round and can be donated during open store hours. No appointment is necessary. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax deductible.

Second Life Expands!

Our Furniture Store is Now Open!

Second Life has expanded!  We are out of space in our current store and have no place to display all the great furniture (and more) donations we receive! We didn't go far...just next door to 89 N. Clarendon Ave (the former Avondale Antiques building). Now, you can park once and shop twice!

Our mfurniture store now openain store isn't going anywhere and will still have the great selection and bargains our customers expect.

Our new store will offer furniture, decor, collectibles and vintage items - all donated by our wonderful supporters.  We are NOW OPEN so come visit us at both store.  Our days and hours open will match our main store.

This is a great test of the waters...so perhaps someday, we can expand to other parts of the city...and country. Puppy & kitty steps first...
