We Love Our Animals

Second Life is not a rescue organization…but we are all about the animals!  Everything we do is focused on giving homeless pets a second chance at life – and sharing our lives with adorable animals that add whimsy and happiness to our lives.

Our Foster Cats:  We foster cats and kittens for PAWS Atlanta in both of our stores.  We love to give seniors, cats that need extra attention to be seen and those who have special needs a chance to find their loving homes.  Meet our Foster Cats.

Store Adoption Events:  We hold adoption events when rescues are interested, giving them the  opportunity to show off their adorable dogs and cats.    

Our Former Store Cat:  We opened our hearts and our stores to Ana, a gorgeous tabby who adopted us and went from being terrified of people to a big cuddle bug. She is now loving home life.  Meet Ana on her page.

Our Chief Smile Officers:  Meet our Chief Smile Officer, Riley and our inspiration, Lucky.  These are our adopted dogs and they changed our lives forever.  Riley’s job is to roam the store and make people smile.  It’s a very important position. Happy Tails with Charities:  Read about the Happy Tails with charities where our grants have made a difference.  You are a hero to homeless pets.

Egyptian Happy Tails:  Meet the Egyptian dogs who we brought back from a shelter in Egypt, which has over 1,200 dogs and cats.  We gave these dogs happy lives and chance to be a pet.  Read more on the Egyptian Happy Tails page.

Cash Grants for Rescues:  We provide cash grants to animal rescue groups and spay/neuter programs so they make a difference in the lives of deserving animals.  Read more about them on Our Mission and Charities page.
